I think it's what we all seek on this site. The FAST/Passion thing is played the hell out though. But, I'm not sure if this is a good post or bad post. Are we to the point where we celebrate when someone actually meets a committment? I don't see these kinds of posts for anyone other than FAST. I just don't see the point. I ordered some shit from RMATV and the shit came a day earlier than I thought, but I never felt compelled to submit a RAH RAH post. Seems tacky to me. You Passion boys need to chill out. There is plenty of work to go around, Just seems like I have most of it!!! Shit like that will definitely ensure you'll never see work from me. I've yet to see Jim post anything like that whatsoever. The way I see it is with the internet/mail its one of the only things that helps to keep these buisnesses suplied with work and in check. You all know what happens here when someone gets treated unfairly, everyone is made aware so that others don't get dicked... Just don't really understand how this is much different than how e-bay has a feed back list.. Is that tacky as well??? Sorry to say it but when I get my stuff back from Jeff I plan on postng how it went and how the bike runs. Not doing it for any reason, other than to reward good buissnes or report bad. I understand what you are saying about providing feedback. The idea behind positive feedback with individuals is that they are more liable to screw you over, because they don't have a name to support as their business. Hey, I got this motor done by so and so. The bike ran great, here's my total experience with X builder. The whole premise of the post originally though was that he was ecstatic that shit arrived when someone said it would. I'm probably just being stupid, dunno. Maybe my personality doesn't lend itself to liking many people in this game. But, for a tiny demonstration, do a search on planet sand for "cameron" for the last 5 years. Check out how much shit gets said about him, then look for a single reply of his. Look for him advertising he's got carbs, clutches, CPI pipes, or anything at all in stock to make a sale. Ain't gonna find one. Look at how many ads he pays to promote his business, NONE. His work is all the advertising and promotion he needs. I dig that. Jeff, ain't gonna muddy up a thread that's positive for you any more, I really don't mean you any disrespect, because I know you got lots of satisfied customers. Like before, during and after the sale etc... I've dealt with several builders over the years and countless parts/acc shops. After you deal with Jeff, your like man this guy covers all bases, doesn't try and force his agenda or what he wants you to build. He builds exactly what you want and continuously follows up to make sure things are going as planned. His customer service is beyond anything I have ever experienced. Obviously countless other people feel the same. I'm not saying Jeff is the only one that does this, but we all know it's just not as customary as we would like. rocketboy Posted January 1, 2006 Report Share Posted January 1, 2006 are any mods online ?cause isnt this supposed to be i n the good feedback forum? ,i thin k what odaen was saying is very true .theres nothing wrong with promoting yourself and having a good relationship wit h your builder is always nice ,but it just surprsies me to see a builder openly bash/cutdown another reputable builder for personal gain ,that was a shot below the belt and was distateful/unproffesional iMO. youll never see jim belittling others on here ,the guy doesnt need to, his work/integrity speaks for itself .that bash was something yo u wont usually see on planet sand, most likely cause the good builders are busy designing and porting engines and not playing online trying to sell chains ,sprockets and main jets . like i said nothing wrong with happy customers giving praise for a job well done just dont see why he couldnt have atleast paid the 9 dollars to atleast be a premium member months ago when he was/is building and getting mad jing off HQ memebrs on all these motors . Iam sure there has been things said about Jim in the past that are not fair or truethfull and I don't agree with that either.
