Malott 1 Posted December 31, 2005 Report Share Posted December 31, 2005 FAST motors have won plenty around here. he had a pretty big writeup in some sand sports magazine when some guys with his motors won some races at LS...ive never heard of this grand national thing, but then again i dont follow up on passion's motors either.. oh and when i talked to jeff the other day, he said he had 25 motors from guys just on HQ..and he also named some off PS..im guessin he has maybe 35 motors at his shop right now? even at 4 hours a motor, you are lookin at possibly 3 weeks. hes got a pretty busy parts business going on as well. he told me hes been goin out after dinner and getting porting done when the phone is not ringin off the hook..apparantly hes doing something right 453502[/snapback] loco is there anybody around her locally that runs a passion motor? Im going so fast now Im ripping lugs off the tires and breaking peoples headlights with roost. He got it done in 10 minutes before the UPS guy had even left, and had it back in the mail right then. He's awesome. Ok now jeff, I need me a set of carbs. And a whole new clutch. Oh yeah, new impeller wouldn't hurt either. Thanks jeff. Edit: Seriously though, I haven't seen anybody try as hard to please his customers as Jeff does. Maybe other people can squeeze more hp out of their, maybe not. Maybe they can get it done quicker than him, although I doubt it. No matter what though, he hasn't done anything to deserve all this shit happening about him. I think they both kinda showed each other some differnt ideas and tricks of the trade over the years. I dont know of Jeffs times, but I do know that Rick has built a 350 (OEM) that has run 3.90 in 300ft. Not tryin to get in the middle of anything here..just tellin what I know. You guys know Rick Cairo? I have seen one of his banshees and it was badass. For the ones that are talking shit on Jeff...Have you ever delt with him? He's the nicest guy I know. Best customer service that I've ever experienced. I live like 20 minutes away from his shop and I go there whenever I can just to bullshit with him and get a set of 4mm cubs. He don't mind if you stop by to talk to him either..he'll talk your ear off. So for those who are saying shit about him and his work don't say shit about him till you have delt with him. JKJK Posted December 31, 2005 Report Share Posted December 31, 2005 From my expierence,Jeff has the best customer servise in the business i have ever delt with.After purchaseing a so called complete cub set up from another builder(not Jim).I had some questions+still needed some parts to make it complete.Jeff is the one who took the time to pick up the phone,answer my questions,get me what i needed+also was a huge help in putting it together+tunning it too.He even followed up about a week later to see if everything was working out. I think it's a popularity thing. Some people just don't like the popular kid on the block just cause he's popular. Jeff's a great guy, he deserves all the props he gets and I'm sure he will need to clone himself a few times over the next few years just to keep up. Can't knock him, might as well try him.
