Malott 1 Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 Unless your stock radiator is messed up the cheap route is to just run the stock radiator and drain all the coolant and run engine ice. You will get the same results and it will save you about $300 if not more. Quote

Shee-Male Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 The motul coolant has the highest boiling point, even higher than the engine ice, factory Honda coolant is also very good because it has low corrosiveness on the aluminum, and there is always Red Line water wetter. I don't see how you would ever use a larger rad anyways, If you have ever seen a stock RZ350 rad it is easily 1/2 the overall size. Quote
switchblade Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 the torchwork rad is by far the highest quality. They are a little hard to get a hold of because of that fact but you wouldn't be sorry buying one of those. Quote
RNBRAD Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 Cascade hands down. Best price and they come polished. Quote
FASTOYS Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 Brad, only you would have found a Polished radiator. jk LOL bling bling Quote

knight_ripper Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 I see here that an oversized rad is worthless. Is this really the case? Im about to run some 100+ mile desert races and I NEED TO KNOW. I was looking into these Rad's but looks like some people think they are worthless. whats the community say? I was going to go as far as rad in line coolers, and a High Perf Water Impeller. whatcha all think? Quote
banshee tuner Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 On the desert race if you keep your speed up you should be fine, I have never overheated from amount of riding time or distance just low speed riding. Quote
knight_ripper Posted February 8, 2006 Report Posted February 8, 2006 Yup thats my experience too. Shee overheats like a bitch when doin alot of low end riding. Never had the problem when the air is coming thru quik style. But I was going to go with it to be safe. Better safe than sorry when your 60 miles from no-where. Awesome, makes me feel better. Thanks Quote
hellride96 Posted February 9, 2006 Report Posted February 9, 2006 i dont care what any of you say....ii run a 400 cheetha with a stock rad with ENGINE ICE and i can drag all day....best way to go in my opinion. hands down. Quote
