i was looking on the trinity site at the cheetah 421 engine kit. i noticed that cheetah cubs are not mentioned in the product descripion..

1. is it posable to get cheetah cubs with the 421cc kit?

2. would this kit run well with a set of rockets?

3. whould this set up with the cheetah and rockets work well for road use?

id like to know all your opinions on this! the more i get the better as i would really like this set-up for the road!

thanks, tithead

yes, 4mm and 68mmbore...

2. would this kit run well with a set of rockets?

mine seems to run pretty well..i feel that it could run about the same and maybe better with cpi or shearers...

3. whould this set up with the cheetah and rockets work well for road use?

what kinda road use? ifu wanna go wide open and fast then yes..if u wanna go 1/4 throttle and slow then no...

just general roud use.... to get from A to B through the summer time. i quite like the look of the dmc alien 916 under tail look.

most of the road use would be pretty fast but, open WIIIIIIIDE up will be rare as the feds are pretty strict and you dont know when they are roand the corner!

I was going to ask if there was a speed limit in Scotland, but you just answered that question. If not I was gonna say go for it!

I would think that you could find the kit a little cheaper than what Trinity offers it for. It sems they are always a little bit higher than most others.

As for pipes, I don't know if the DMC's will give the motor a chance to perform up to its potential. Even though you're not drag racing it, I believe a set of inframe drag pipes would work good for road riding, as you're never really using the lower part of the powerband. .02

james, since you arent gonna be draggin it why not go with a set of t5's?? if not t5's i would say cpi..the shearers wont have much on bottom and have a really hard hit when they do come on..i dont think thats what u want..
