FIRST BANSHEE
It comes with a mold and a piece of alumiun.so you'll need a torch or something to melt the alumiun, and then pour it in the mold and let cool 2 hrs, then install.good luck
dawarriorman
It comes with step by step instructions 447941 I thought it was kind of self explanitory. Ok, I'll take a stab at it. First clean up the gasket surface. Take the bottom piece. Find the orings that fit in the domes, and set them on top of the cylinders. Then take the big bottom piece, fit the orings in it, then set it over the domes, and on top of the cylinders. Now fit all the orings in their place (studs and so on). You have no left over orings at this point. Put the top of the head on, torque it down, throw some plugs in it and you're set. Some things to note, use some grease to hold the orings in place. Otherwise they might fall out of the groove and you not notice, which will cause leaks. And look for the grooves in the domes, and you'll see they only fit with the bottom piece of the head one way. dlnoss
It does come with instructions. The only 'special' tool needed is a torque wrench although people install the heads without them. Unless you wrench a lot and have a pretty good feel for what 20 ft/lbs is, I would recommend the torque wrench. If you have questions during installation, you can give me a call. -David

Banshee~
ok cool i didnt know if it came with instructions thanks. what do you need a torque wrench for i dont have one but might get one its a preatty handy tool for the quads and bikes thanks for the help 447980 You dont want one side of the head to be torqued down to 25 ft. pounds and the other to 10 ft. pounds. That will cause leaks and might warp the head. Spend some money on a good torque wrench. You will need it for alot of stuff (head, oil drain bolt, lug nuts, ect.). Tip: get a tub of greese and wip some on the orings and they will stick to the head better. And get a clymers manual, it tells you the pattern you need to torque the head bolts to. Also torque all the head bolts to 5 ft. pounds, then 10,15, and 20.

chris642
Get a good torque wrench, dont skimp out since it is pretty damn important. I got a Craftsman one that measures from 10-75, pretty much perfect for anything you need on a bike. It is the kind that you set on the handle and when that torque is reached you hear and feel a click. Here is the eact one, i think it is a good price. http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?...pid=00944561000
