kawasakid Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 I just bought a shee in stock mode. ( Stock anything sucks even women ) I was told that getting a boost bottle will make a huge difference in the throttle responce. I need advise Quote
Wallrat Posted December 11, 2005 Report Posted December 11, 2005 (edited) Yeah save ur money on this one. Pretty much the only thing that they really do well is cause premature wear of your intake boots. I don't even run a crossover tube on my shee. For $35 you could get a ricky stator timing plate and actually pick up about 2 free hp. Oh ya and welcome to the HQ! Edited December 11, 2005 by Wallrat Quote

Bansh88 Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 You REALLY should slap the shit outta whoever told you it makes a "huge difference". Quote
bansheeryder_69 Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 running hardly any oil in your gas would "make a huge difference" ................ but only for about 2-3 minutes Quote
banshee tuner Posted December 20, 2005 Report Posted December 20, 2005 It made a slight difference when my shee was stock, but with pipes and all it hurt my bottem end. Quote
strokersquid Posted December 25, 2005 Report Posted December 25, 2005 on a ypvs motor with 30mm carbs and rather messy low end jetting ( too rich ) it did help a lot at the low end Quote

Quadracer18 Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 is, there anything you can put in the place of the boost bottle. I have an fmf one and id rather run nothing there and give my quad a cleaner look. Quote
FASTOYS Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 You could run the stock crossover tube ( U shaped aluminum piece) ! Quote
23champ Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 Some guys just plug the holes off and dont run any kind of a crossover whatsoever. Quote
banshee tuner Posted December 27, 2005 Report Posted December 27, 2005 The stock crossover tube works the best for me, I've tried plugging off the holes and mine run terrible on bottom and mid range. Quote
hittintrees srh Posted December 28, 2005 Report Posted December 28, 2005 There junk-about the only thing there good for is a little bling Quote
