Unfortunately as of recently you can't look up a member's ebay name by searching their paypal addy, all you can get is their feedback score. If you google his name he's all over the net. Brooke Posted December 10, 2005 Report Share Posted December 10, 2005 hey loco, how long ago did you file that claim with paypal? i got screwed over on ebay and ended up having to file a claim, got my money back ten days later cause paypal never got a response from the chick. well, minus some paypal fees of course its a signifigant amount of money, and hes obviously trying to scam more people too, so i wouldnt hesitate to contact the authorities in his area. get all your evidence in order, all the emails and PMs, print em out then just go after him. in the meantime we can all do our best to humiliate him and make his life hell. If it looks like the right guy, a tazer does wonders for taking them down, then just go ahead and let into him until you are satisfied you got $650 worth of beating out of him. He even offered to install it on the bike when we went thru Wichita on the way to dunes. It showed up sooner than he originally said it would, and was half the price of anywhere else. Figures though, make sure he is not hung up in the hospital already from screwing someone else. I'd drive the 4 hours, hell I drove 6+ hours to Nashville overnight for a job once. Since I dont care for the looks of the ugly stock cover, (no matter how much is invested in polish or paint) it looks like I'll have to "roll the dice" and take my chances with switchblade. I figured I would just use Jeff at fast, it may of cost a few dollars more but it's worth the piece of mind knowing it will be done right and get it when expected.
