PUSH THE THROTTLE
How about run 2 nuts on the stud, tighten them together and use the bottom one to remove the stud? It's free and you don't need to go to the store to do it?

I just went to sears and bought a set of craftsman stud removers. The whole kit was only like $30.00 and has like 7 differnt sizes. They worked like a charm! As a matter of fact that was the only time that method wouldn't work for me.

BigRed350x
If you don't care about the old ones and have new ones to put in, just use vise grips to remove the old ones. then use the nut technique for the new ones going in. if the old ones are really in there, try and use some penetrating oil or wd-40 or similar. Two of them broke one off in the cases. I heated mine up and had no troubles, and the other guy had a bike that was only 6mo. old, and he had no trouble at all. FASTOYS
Our Harbor Frieght store has a set of 4 that will work for you and i think they were only like 10-12 dollars!
brilei5
Even with a stud remover use penetrating oil and or some heat. Years ago when I did my NOSS Head Some of the threads came out of the jugs with the stud. Be careful! Good luck. Oh 10mm should fit BTW.
