I'm getting pretty good too, but always could use good advice and pointers on the subject. So how about it how do you extreme hill'ers do it. I'm talking about handle bars hit your helmet going up extreme hills. I know about leaning over the bars,but I only weight 110 and that's with my new and improved boobs so that has is limits. Never really had anything scary happen going up, but coming down I've had some high pucker factor moments. I have learnt that the rear brake is best left alone as it seems to cause me to slide sideways, luckily I haven't tipped it yet. BansheeBillyBob Posted December 6, 2005 Report Share Posted December 6, 2005 well first thing i would look into is changing your gearing if ur not ported i run a 13 up front and stock in the rear, and the larger hills i mostly do those in 3rd (when im runnin like swamper tires or somthin) when i have my paddles on i do em mostly in 2nd but sometimes i can get 3rd. i ride in coal dirt so the paddles work really well almost no slip at all. all traction baby. but alot of us run 22in super swampers, and they work really well. i just dont care for that big of a tire. i also had good success with irazrs on the rear climbin when its not too loose ne way. hope some of that helps.
