RNBRAD
Do a search, there should be some good info about it. I use Redline water wetter mixed with antifreeze. You can get the best cooling though using the water wetter with straight distilled water. No freeze protection but you get corrosion and boil protection. If your not worried about freezing, nothing cools better.

RNBRAD
brad how low does engine ice go do you know far as anti freezing?? 443843[/snapback] It should freeze when straight water does, so around 30 your at risk. I'm switching to distilled and ww this spring. I'll probably just leave it in over the winter cause my garage doesn't get very cold.
helldriver
just did some rersearch info on it,, and it says it wont freeze until -54 degrees Champions choose and use Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant!! Racers using Engine Ice have won over 250 Amateur and Professional National Championships, including the 2001 125cc East Supercross Championship, 2002 West Supercross Championship, 11 Amateur National Championships and 37 motos at the 2002 AMA Loretta Lynn`s Amateur National Championships. Why do they choose Engine Ice? ENGINE ICE Hi-Performance Coolant is biodegradable, phosphate free & non-toxic; while reducing operating race temperatures by as much as 50 F and effectively keeping boil over temperatures to 255 F or less and freeze-up protection to -54 F. ENGINE ICE Hi-Performance Coolant is premixed with de-ionized water to protect your water cooling system from scarring, scaling and to effectively provide "prolonged optimum operating temperatures." "Right out of the bottle" ENGINE ICE Hi-Performance Coolant is "ecologically safer" than regular coolants for wildlife and the environment. What`s even more amazing is that it works far better than most any other engine coolant on the market. Because of ENGINE ICE Hi-Performance Coolant`s non-toxic phosphate-free formula, it`s even safer for people and pets too! ENGINE ICE Hi-Performance Coolant is a product to be distributed on the web and by your local powersports dealer instead of auto-parts stores. Why? Because it`s designed for motorcycles, ATV`s and Snowmobiles, not cars. We at CycleLogic are avid enthusiasts since 1975 and we demand performance and we appreciate free, open riding lands made possible by our local and federal governments as well as private land owners. We recognize the "effort" it takes to "keep" them free. We make the best, because we like winning!!! Malott 1
I run engine ice in my raptor and the first few times at the dunes I thought my fan had quit working. Before my fan seemed like it was on all the time but now it very seldom comes on. That stuff is awesome. I would put it in my shee but as often as I am checking things out and draining it cost to much so I just go buy the cheap pre mix at the auto parts store for the shee.
