8buck
The motor has been ported/polished with V-Force reeds. Which pipe would give it the most bottom end power and which would give it the most top end? Sorry about the Honda question, it's not mine I promise! reded
FMF Gnarly for bottom and Pro-Circuit for top. You can also put a CR250 CDI box on it for more top end.

reded
Out of frame drag pipe prolly wouldnt be too cool on a CR 500, nor would it enhance the handling capabilities of it.
Motoman991
would any pipe enhance the handling. an out of frame would just get messed up really bad if you dropped the bike on the side the pipe was coming out of. your friend might be better off getting an all around pipe since he wants more power on bottom and top

He has the FMF Gnarly on it now and wanted to see if you guys agreed it was a bottom end pipe. Edited December 11, 2005 by 8buck

reded
but you will be limited with it bein a bike and all.. Dont think you'll be too limited, I know of several CR 500's making mid to high 80's with Pro-Circuit and FMF pipes. The individual who ports it has more to do with how much power it makes than any pipe ever could.
23champ
I agree, a pro circut pipe is the best all around pipe, it has much more top end than the FMF. The FMF is more of a low to mid pipe, the CR500 is monster down low already. Throw a PC on it
