Money I'm making down there is a hellof alot better then I was making and getting away from my home town is my reasons for going. Words can not describe what I've seen down there....... BansheeJen
I can't believe the money they are paying clean up folks down there. make sme ponder the idea. Have a friend down there that is doing cleanup, he was down there a few weeks at a $1000 a week and now they are saying $1800 a week if he wants to come back. I they said 10 hr days 6 days a week. But that is some hella good money to bring home! Kinda makes me wonder why more of the displaced residents aren't down there scooping that money up to clean up there own area ya know? sksummers
I spent a week down there helping a co-worker work on their house. I agree, it is amazing what you see, and the conditions that still exist there. The money for workers may be good there, the problem is that housing is almost non-existent so you better bring your own place to stay.
