Hey guyz

I have a 420 big bored banshee set up for drag racing but i just can't seem to get traction at take off. I live in australia and dont quite drag in sand. It's more like hard clay. I take off in 2nd, running a 15 front sprocket, 6" extended swingarm, 10x8 rear rims. I have tried paddles and it is great at take off but at mid-track its like ridin on ice, no traction. I was thinkin of maybe wider rims, but thats y i have come here to ask.

Also, i am currently running pro circuit in frame pipes and want to upgrade to outta frame drag pipes. Does this give more hp? What brands are available?

I'm going to buy a set of tires and i was leaning towards the MAXXIS RAZR IIs,, are these good? What would be the best tire available for drag racing on hard clay?

Thanx

turf tamers for hard clay should be good. razer11s are good for loose stuff.

Ok, i'll descirbe the ground. At the start line the clay is medium because the water truck usually goes over it and all the bikes dig it up. At half track to the end, the ground is quite hard, and when i took my paddles up i found that it lost traction by half track and had no more pull. Now most people have recommended the Maxxis 4-Snows. I have had a look at these and they got similar pattern to paddles.i know they will be awesome at take off but will they perform good at last half of track where it gets hard or will it loose traction like the paddles. i dont want to waste my money.

(the water truck does not wet the last half of track, so it is dry hard ground)

Cut turf tamers,or ohtsu radials. The H tracks.Maybe the Kendas to.Either 3 of these should work better than the others mentioned.
