A new quad? :rotflmao: No, im kidding though.

The track here requires gloves, leather or otherwise racing type jacket, and long pants. Possibly boots too, not sure though. Tires don't matter. It changes from track to track. I would plan on having gloves and a leather jacket though.

haha i know i should get a shee but my blaster is pretty quick and im happy with it.... yeah i have gloves and boots.... i thought you needed like slicks lol. would i prolly run the 1/8? with my mxr4 holeshots lol... i gotta get me some leathers

I would throw the stockers back on and save your good tires if you can. Ive heard of some places that won't let you run the 1/4 without drag tires (only 1/8). Course last time I was at the track here there was a guy with a shee that made a 119 mph pass on bald stockers.

damn thats fast as hell!!!! my stockers are pretty much bald. they are bigger then my holeshots so that would get me a little more top end.i would think about changing my gearing but i dont think it is worth it for the little amount of times that i would be going there. prolly like 1 time. lol

atco or englishtown will let you run it on the quarter with, boots, gloves, helmet and a working tail light.and a leather jacket.

that is freaking cool dude. of course i dont have a tail light. i have an aftermarket grab bar {DG} so the tail light had to be taken off. you think i would be topped out in 6th gear in the 8th mile even with gearing for top speed and running stock tires??

Posted

yes you will be out of gear. any bike shop sells them clamp on led tail lights for bikes.i`ve seen flashlights taped on banshees.

hah sweet deal. why do you need a tail light?? also can i run the 1/4 or the 1/8 mile? if i can do both should i just run the 1/8? also is it worth it to change my gearing? i definitly will put stock tires on... they are pretty worn though. and as for the leather jacket whats a good place to get one?? rocky mountain?

taller gearing will help, but your bike gotta have the nuts to pull it. any motorcycle shop sells leather jackets, they are cheaper on e bay. the tail light is for at night to see if you have run into the guardrails.

yeah thats true. i think there is a harley dealer around me so i could get a jacket there or on ebay. do i need a tail light even if i run during the day? were can i get a tail light online?? rockymountain doesnt hav em. thanks a lot man
