i have been thinking about putting my 4,500.00 baby into the back of my truck and parking it at school for 6hrs a day...you made me almost change my mind, it woulden't be hard for someone to drop the tailgate, yank it to the ground, fire it up and drive off(no key), or back up to it and unload right into their truck, how convenient...maybe i'll just slap a big ass chain and lock on there around my roll bar

ATV insurance folks. Unless you have a way to lock it into the back of a truck there's no way i'd just drive around with it in there. Theives are everywhere just waiting to steal an honest hardworking persons stuff. They should cut their damn hands off! Insurance is cheap, it wont bring your baby back but it will at least help replace it. Covers crashes too!

if you wanna leave it int he backl of your truck, back up to a light pole or wall.  that way they cant drop the tailgate...........

Word, that's what I do when I'm hauling the rocket. I also lock it too the ramps cause two seven foot ramps are gonna be a bitch to manipulate while locked to a motorcycle. It also protects my ramps from theft. I also have a locking tailgate so that's another preventative measure. Not 100% but it's gonna be awfully difficult to not get noticed trying to steal anything.

If your so inclined theres another way to prevent theft. Either bolt in or weld in an eyelet toward the front of the Bed. Then use a nice 3/4" chain and huge lock to secure it. besure when you install the eyelet you reinforce around it with a steel plate either under or above the bed. Sounds like alot of work but it can be done in an hour flat and it just might save your ATV from being stolen.

i have a double tubed roll bar in the bed of my toyota, i'll just chain it to that...backing up to a telephone pole has gotta be the best idea so far...and it's ok because i have room for gear inside the truck, and my ramps are 2x12" cedar planks, i doubt any kid wants those..really sucks your shee got stolen, find the guy and chemically castrate him somehow, cut his hands off and duct tape the stubs, then finally hog tie him and stick his theivin ass in a closet with a straw for food and water that goes out the door, and pee in the tube

i think itd be fun to set up alittle operation, ya know park a truck somewhere, but the banshee in the back, and when some punk comes over and says ooo im gonna steal it, and triies, tackle the fucker and get him arrested....or follow him and then tell the cops haha, i dunno if thats like entrapment though, prolly illigal somehow.....
