smokincycles Posted November 4, 2005 Report Share Posted November 4, 2005 ok,,,heres the deal...i have a 2001 banshee with bad crank bearings...so i want to do a stroker kit,,,timing plate,,,lightened flywheel,,,modified shift star,,,prodesign coolhead,,,,domes depending on crank setup,,,stock carbs in the winter with k&ns no airbox...lectron alky carbs for summer,,,, possible 4 in over swingarm later on,,,we only ride on weekends,,,,normal trails ,hills,down the roads,,,through shallow creeks,,,,silverlake and the badlands,,,i just want to be the one with some roostability...for about $1500.00 to $2000.00,,,,which parts and mods do i want for the biggest bang for the buck.. and the best places to get the parts without getting ripped off,,,.please help before i buy the wrong combo...i need some options,,,.thankyou Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Carbs will cost you around 3-400 depending on brand and you can recoop most of that by selling your stock juggs . Call Jeff at FAST Racing!!! Like he said, it will cost every bit of $2k to get set up like you want, including selling all of the stock parts you can to off set the cost. The good thing is that if you buy everything at once you may get a super package deal if you get it all from one vendor, pluss you get it all set up right the first time at bat.
