No thats not the ones...

they have an IR in the part number and they are true version bulbs (must be both True Aim and IR)...Took quite some searching on their site to find them and last time I looked they did not even list the 50 watt version I just happened to askthem if they had anything with more power than teh 35 watt IR.

With stock stator use the 35 watt IR's

you could re-wind your stator to run the 50 IR's (cheapest) or get an aftermarket one which gives you alot more power than just a rewind (ricky stator - recomended)

I have the 200w RS stator now, what would be the biggest bulb I can run and would you have any Idea on the part #'s?

producs name is

50MR16/IR/SP/10/C

12V GU5.3

30W 10deg/SP

#54175

might have to call them to ask about their 35 watt version, www.sylvania.com

these bulbs are made in germany, these are good quality MR16's not your wallmart crap.

Box says Tru-Aim IR Mr 16 Covered Halogen Infrared

with ricky stator setup your best bet would probably be 4 of these 35 watt version, or 2 50's if you only want 2. No reason to put in anything higher power than the 50 IR in a light with the reflector the size of an MR16. Unless your willing to switch to HID.

well its not much cheaper, a stator is 200 bucks plus 115 for the trailtech lights plus about 5 bucks for the bulbs is 320. i think you said the HIDs are 150 each so thats 300 plus 30 for regulator and 20 for battery so 350. i'd only be saving myself 30 bucks by not doing hid.

Battery conversion is a PITA though, and would still get a new stator to run the HID's IMO.

As they will shut off automatic if voltage drops below 12V. But yea, not too much more for HID.

My instructions that came with the 35w HID's said banshees have to run a 200w stator.

mine also, but then I heard trailtech said you don't, but then again at the sand show they also said the HID's will never draw more than 3 amps, then when I talked to a tech he said they draw alot more than 30 watts at startup (and more than 3 amps, probably more like 8 or so I'm not sure!). so ???

ok i took that part number to work and found what i could. sylvania only makes those in 50, 20, and 37 watt. the part number for the 37 is :

37MR16/IR/SP10/C

#58641

would you be able to run these bulbs safely even though they are each 2 watts over stock? if you could, this would be an easy way to get a little more brightness with stock stator. someone please advise, i am really thinking about getting the trailtech lights, and am looking at options to get as bright as possible without spending a lot of money (and keeping stock stator) Thanks.
