dajogejr
Had a good day today.... Jeff W. From F.A.S.T. if you're reading this ....I saw one bas arse bike you built today. He's a member here, and I forgot his handle, I think it was 1bad370shee or something like that. Anyways, I saw a fast sticker on his rear fender, and ran over to meet him. He said you did the whole thing, cubs, 4mil, drag port, shearer's...etc. It flat out got it, and I was very impressed. The only thing he couldn't conquer today was a GSXR 1300 Hayabusa motored banshee...which, isn't even fair to be honest. And...he gave him a great race, it was no blowout.... So...Kudos to you....I'm planning on getting my motor all done up by you soon, it was nice to see one of your bikes run in person though... FASTOYS
Thanks guys!! Glad you got to hook up with JT and see his bike run. It is definetly a runner! Sounds like all had a great time!!!
dajogejr
Yeah, like I told JT...I'm not going that extreme with mine...but, it was cool as hell to see that rocket run. watching him pull the front end up still half way down the track was impressive on +8 over... I think in the next few weeks, it'll be tear down time. I'm going to be sending it on your way soon...

dajogejr
Suwheet... I saw a few bikes jumping a bowl and getting up pretty good...about 20 up and 30 ft out or so...but didn't see any quads doing this... Would've like to get my own pictures! This was my first time out to the dunes. After a fresh motor build I think I'm going to be hooked...we ride with anywhere between 2 and 15 people...so, next year I can't wait! Bc... are you local to the dunes, Metro-Detroit?
Bc34c
I'm up in traverse city about 2 hours north of dunes. I grew up in west branch and still go back there to visit my parents. there is some descent trails around wb and st helen area. I'll keep checkin in here and keep in touch with you guys and hopefully cya next summer on the trails or dunes. dajogejr
My friend I went riding with this last weekend was teetering on the dunes or St. Helen... Neither of us are big on tight, whooped out trails...so, Bull Gap and Gladwin are out. However...If you like fast-wide open trails, Peacock is all for you. Probably less than 2 hours from Traverse City...about a 3 1/2 to 4 hour ride for us Metro-Detroiters...
badassbanshee479
My grandparents live in irones which is right down the road from peacock, let me know next time you are headin out there, would be sweet to hook up with ya out there. dajogejr
Our friends make two trips out there. An April or May trip, and a October trip they just took a couple weeks ago. I'm telling you...you would have a blast on that quad...they are 4th, 5th and sometimes 6th gear trails...no tight twisty stuff. I'll let you know for sure!! sheefreak
JT, Were you real close to that 1300, or do you need quite a bit of help to catch him. Basically have the same setup as I am building this winter and I see that 1300 at silver lake here and there. I would like to embarress him. Also what size carbs are you running? badassbanshee479
only got me by a bike length, I was having shifting problems and I was having a hard time getting it to hook, more paddles and an over ride it would have been no problem, I am running 39mm pwks on my bike right now.
