hey, i have an oppertunity to pick up a 2005 90cc four stroke kids quad made by "speedway" or something for a pretty low price from a salvage auction for car dealers. it is still in the crate it was shipped. im thinking of buying it, then selling it for a small profit. my real question is, are these things in demand? im thinking of selling it for $600 in the crate, or $650 fully assembled, preped, and gone over by me(retorque bolts, etc). you guys think it will sell?

Thats pretty flowered up.

I've asked my ol lady 230942098 times to help me out, and thus far she cleaned an air filter once, I reoiled it and put it back on the damn bike. I was going to have her put her own main jets in after we tossed the stock airbox, but you can guess who did that. Apparently gas stinks real bad.

She did sit on my project bike at the shop on saturday while I was working. That was nice.

She says when she gets another Banshee (hopefully next year) that "I get to help her with it."

banghead

At least it will be another toy in the toybox.

Get some pictures of you assembling it. I'd like to show someone inparticular.

i would have to see, but these things dont weigh to much, like 200 LBS. i will let you know if i actually get it tomorrow, it is a slavage auction so it is not guaranteed that im going to get it. where are you from, maybe i could find a place that would give me a quote, i know you arnt to far so it cant be THAT much.

I'm near rockland, maine. let me know if you get it and i'll find out if dad wants to do it with me.

stan, thats funny shit. my dad's favorite job when he was in college was when he worked for a motorcycle shop. his job was to go to the warehouse and assemble the bikes when an order came in. he had me out in the garage with him since i was tiny, tinkering on shit, goin on and on about that damned motorcycle shop. i always loved it though, learned a lot. came in handy when i finally got old enough to like boys. one love connection was made when i was about ten, the boy i liked lost the brakes on his snowmobile and i was the only one who could fix it.

:rotflmao:

im no mechanical genius, but im always nosing around, asking questions and annoying everyone. i love that shit. plus its hot to watch boys work on their toys.
