Justintoxicated
Just to give you an idea about how much stronger than stock it would be, I made some billet 5 speed autos for the suzuki GSXR1100 oil cooled engine (same gear centerlines as the banshee) that were breaking trannys every 4 - 5 runs down the 1/4. To date it has over 50 passes on it with a best run of 7.16 @ 195 mph. and it looked perfect last time it was apart. 427644[/snapback] Ok I was just askign cause from my experience aluminum gears always tend to wear out MUCH faster than steal ...so I don't get it. Billet does not mean aluminum...billet is a fancy word for a solid chuck of metal eg. extruded or rolled/drawn instead of cast, forged, or powdered metal, like what stock gears are. Its not porous like those materials so its stronger
