Jonesy Posted October 11, 2005 Report Share Posted October 11, 2005 I have been trying to get electrical problem fixed for a while and still cant figure it out. I have a 2000 banshee that runs great for 20 min then looses spark for about 10 min before it comes back. I have replaced the coil and just put on a new stator and still it just wont stay running. Justintoxicated Posted October 12, 2005 Report Share Posted October 12, 2005 (edited) Do you still have the parking brake? Thats usualy the culprit when it comes to TORS. Unplugging the black box on teh left hand side up front disables the TORS so give that a shot too. But get a new cluch lever and ditch the parking brake! I think i got it i took all the plastics off and the tank to get a better look at the electrical system and found a very rusty sandy dirty ignition key taped up under the tank. When i tested it with my VOM the circuit would open and close if you shook the switch. After a new coil and stator all it took was a butt connector to fix the problem.....At least i hope lol ill find out next time i get her in the sand.
