Broke Upper Arm (Pics)...

I was going over a small jump that throws me about 20 feet in length and 3-4 feet high...after about the 10th jump I heard a loud snap...I looked down and my wheel was flopping around and the upper a-arm was broke. I set the arm back in place and limped it back home about a mile...

I was planning on a trip to Little Sahara in the next week or two...now I need to figure out what I'm going to do about this arm so I can still make it.

I could weld it no problem but I have a feeling it will just break again if I do that. Worse case scenerio I may weld it and put a bunch of extra gussets on it to make it strong (and ugly) just to make the trip.

What do you think, should I buy some +2 arms or should I just pick up a set of used stockers? Who makes some good budget aftermarket arms that I can get asap?

Anybody got any used aftermarket arms they'd be willing to let go of for a fair price?

Here are a few pics of the break:

I probably will weld them up for a temporary fix...unless I can find a good used +2 set ASAP.

I'm looking at picking up some +2 arms, unfortunatly I only have about 450 or less to spend (I don't even have that but I don't have much of a choice).

Please check out my +2 arms thread here: http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...t=0#entry424802

copy/paste from my other thread:

I can only afford to spend 450 or less but I don't want to get a POS that's going to break like the stockers did. I'd love to have the $$$ to fork out for some Quicksands but I can't afford it, nor do I think I'm "serious" enough of a rider to need them.

I've searched about all of these and pretty much found contradictory info about most all of them.

So far, I've found:

FULLFLIGHT RACING heard good and bad about these

LINK

Pro Star/American Star heard good and bad about these

LINK

Pro Star/American Star Plus heard good and bad about these

LINK

Armadillo Rocky Mountain ATV sells these which makes me think they are good arms

LINK

WICKED PRODUCTS Man these are nice looking...I want them just for the color.

LINK

If you know of any others in or near my price range, I'm all ears.

Which of these would you guys prefer if you were in my situation???
