blackandyellowshee
My friend has a crf250 and it eats valves like your mother does potato chips. Go for the yzf250 if are going 250 four stroke. They have DOHC compared to Honda's SOHC which you have to rev the crap out of to get any power. My other friend had a yz250f and I liked that one a lot better. Also its not like my friend with the CRF didn't do any matenance on the vavles either, he had it apart ever ride. Just thought i'd warn you.

midnite
If 4-strokes are the future, I'll stay in the past. If ya gotta have a dirtbike, get a 250 2-stroke. Edited October 7, 2005 by midnite

Spitfire
How many of you have actually ridden a 450? It's a LOT of bike, if he's a beginner (assuming here) with dirtbikes, and plans on riding MX, or trails, I'm willing to bet he'd prefer the 250f. A lot of 450 riders actually throw down quicker lap times while they're riding a 250f, go figure. Edited October 7, 2005 by Spitfire

Cotton eyed Joe
Cole, throw down some stats hp/tq numbers n shit on this bike. I'm too lazy to look it up. I don't know much about bikes other than they are 1/2 the weight of a quad and girls can't ride them very well.
