I had the same one I'd bet.

Blue, 1984 or so. I started on it when I was 9.

We had a 200cc MOTO4 also. No suspension. The fucker was a tank.

I hit a mound of snow with it one time out when I was about 16. Didn't know it wasn't a mound of snow but a mound of dirt covered by about 1/2" of snow. Sent me straight f**kin up. I though I broke my back when the seat hit me.

honda had a 70cc quad way back when. a buddy of mine has one for his 2.5 year old. they go really good in the dirt and will get the little one round on the dunes too. dont see many around any more but he picked his up for 400bucks. In reall good shape. just a thought.

my neices (4 and 6) have a lil rascal 50cc, has a screw to detune the throttle but that little bugger mobs when unscrewed, but they have a kill switch to walk behind and it shuts off when the rope unplugs or whatever neat little piece hauled my nephew who is 10 around pretty good on it. my neice rolled already once and just got back up and rode off. i was proud and now she needs somthin faster. but this was a great quad especially since she outgrew the powerwheels so quick and wanted to get air like her uncle

hey man cool to have your little kid ready for his first quad, i have been riding since I was 2, but here is some advice, not to change your mind or say you are wrong, cause i totally think it is fine. the law says a child no younger than six can ride a quad and here is why I am telling you this, I have a real close friend whose 4 year old daughter was killed july 4 of this year on a small quad, no the D.A. is trying to press involuntary manslaughter charges on him because like i said the law says below six no ride or drive, the sticker is on the side of the quad, that is just not there to keeep the quad makers out of trouble its the law, and if your child was to get hurt or killed this could possibly be you, just letting you know what has happened around me lately

Also the e-tons have a remote kill switch option. Thing has to be worth it's weight in diamonds. My sons has the rope kill switch. Not a bad idea as long as your a ironman triathlete. The LT50's are bullet proof, I just sold a 1984 model. I went with the e-tons, they just flat out have a better and more up to date unit than the others.
