STLBILL
I'm not taking sides and I'm sorry if I offended anyone on YFZs with my post. I didn't mean it that way. YFZs do win most of the races.
bansheefreestyler
I can say that a buddy has the R and another buddy has the yfz and R spanks it all day both have same mods (airbox lid removed...lol) The R will beat it by a bike length, even when they switch riders........lol 418653[/snapback] the guy riding the yfz was obviously a shitty rider. the r has more bottom end but the yfz has more mid to top
iceman
95% rider 5% bike. whoever is riding better is who is gonna win. the bikes are too close to compare.

It really doesn't matter though the Shee will piss on both of them and I think thats what most of us here have.
endofitall9
forgot to say, they'll even switch riders with the same outcome. it doesnt matter when you hit the last gear and you still getting pulled there is hardly anything a rider can do. trail rider
who cares if one is faster than the other. like alotta ppl have said already, its 95% rider and 5% bike. i ride trail almost ALL the time(hence the name) and im riding a crf150f and i can keep up with some friends of mine riding 400ex's that are wood set up. and they fly through the trails wide f**kin open, but hey im just a good rider and my 0.02 cents on the two choices. i would prefer the 450r because its more trail friendly. bottom end mostly, while the yfz is top end crazy. the yfz is pretty cramped compared to the mighty shee that sits like a sofa. but i've only rode one yfz and it was pretty shitty. torn plastics, dead battery, bent bars, busted a-arm. not to mention once its warmed up the hot ass exhaust, even when its just idling. but then again who cares what i think, just ride em both and pick the one that best suites you for your riding conditions.
