Front Suspention to low ?

When I bought my banshee it already had Works Shocks up front. I have no complaints about the shocks. Just there's not alot of ground clearance on the front end. My question is how do I adjust my shocks to increase ground clearance without affecting the ride. I ride trails mostly and a little MX. The MX Banshee's that I see have more ground clearance on the front end than mine.

Here's a picture tell me what you think

Works shocks have a ride hieght adjustment. There should be a ring on the top that the spring pushes up against. You can adjust that up or down to get the desired hieght. It doesn't affect the ride just the hieght.

How about the valve, is that gas or air. Would that change the height?

The schrader valve at the top of the shock? That is where the nitrogen is added / removed - I would strongly suggest you NOT mess with that. The nitrogen maintains pressure on the back of the piston inside the oil which dictates valve actuation based on the shim stack. Nitrogen in an emulsion shock (like Works) will not change ride height.
