jmoore
I was doing the same thing. I am going to try some kenda v-blade paddles. The made for snow tires look like they would work great but I think some sand tires might work great as well just because of the taller blades.? locogato11283
4 snows dont work that great and neither do paddles. studded tires are the way to go...ive tried them all..chains, 4 snows, paddles, plain ass big tires. nothing gets down and hooks like the studded tires do..get some tires with good tread on them. get some 3/4" sheet metal screws, NOT SELF TAPPERS...use a couple hundred per tire and ull eb set to go. put some on the fronts too so u can turn. PUSH THE THROTTLE
I run the paddle masters they are made for mud and snow, they get around well. If you get deep snow studs won't help that much but they are great on ice.

badassbanshee479
last winter I had my stock tires broke down and I used snowmobile studs in them, on the ice it was like riding on concrete, and in the deep stuff it would dig down and go like hell !!! Gargamel
I agree with loco less than 12" and east coast snow, go studs. For west coast dry snow studs don

Ruko
We do a lot of winter riding here in Canada. We have found Spider Trac's with studs work pretty good, but only up to about a foot of snow. After that we break out the sleds. A studded Banshee on a frozen river with little or no snow kicks ass.
