Ruko
I have some 450 shocks on my Banshee already but I am running Sanddragon A-Arms with the bottom mount moved out to get the right length. They work great but now I want to put some 450 shocks on my girlfriends machine. I have it all stripped down to have it powder coated so I figured why not make new upper shock mounts and raise them up an inch or so?? I read through most of the other posts about 450 shocks and didn't see anything about moving the upper mount. Has anyone tryed this or have any thoughts about it??? locogato11283
are they stock length arms?? if so the 450 shocks are a tight fit but theyll work without moving any mounts. i just grinded on the shocks themselves until they fit...it wouldmtb e too hard to move the top shock mount, but its not really necessary... If anything I would like to lower the front about an inch. If I rasied the shock mount the front end should sit a little lower than stock. Also if the upper mount is higher they shouldn't extend down so far to cause the "ball joint failure" which has been rumored to happen. At least that's what I was thinking...
