rjvoight
Had a little mishap and destroyed the rear tail light on the last trip. I would rather replace it with something other than stock. Anyone run an LED light? If so, what brand, how much, how easy and can you post a pic? Thanks, any input will be appreciated. chris642
they look alot better than the stock ones, here is mine with blue LEDs. make sure you order the one for your years, i bought the older style one so i had to make a bracket to fit it on there and there are 3 wires on the newer banshee, the light had 2 like the older banshee's(i forget the years) im not sure if i got a defective light but the first time i used it 3 LEDs blew out, i mean really poped and sparked!! kinda pissed me off that the guy on ebay(the dealer) did nothing to help me! The mounting bracket mounts to the stock rubber mounts right? also, I have a 98 banshee with no BRAKE function...just tail light. Do you have different models for different years? The Wiring changed at some point. ANSWER:Hello, My tail light is universel you can fit it on any atv. im not sur if you can install it on your oem hole but youc an drill samml hole to have right hole to snap the tail light. you can plug the tail light only in parking you will have 7 led on when you atv will be on. LED's are cheap there... **** the tail light constist of only 2 wires on the non-brake light years, one grounds into the harness or directly to the frame (depending on what model you have). While the other is the hot wire leading back to the lighting circuit I have learn through trial and error that LEDs are very sensitive to their polarity (dont plug them in backwards) ***** cut the 2 wires and splice LEDs in.. Damn good idea Bansh88
