don't get more than +2 for trails, I would only do +2 if your going to widen the rear axle and front A-arms... Otherwise keep it stock for trails...

Lean forward to keep the rear end down.

Now if you want drag and dune a +4 is a good length if you don't like to wheelie or have over 70 HP.

Drag only I would go +6 if you have the ponies...The longer you extend it the less weight you have under the rear tires too.

I love my +2, just right length for Playing Jumping and a little dragging. I woudl not be afraid to take my bike on trails either...but might as well leave it stock for a trail shee IMO.

nice oppinion , and every thing he says is right . minimal ponies = smaller swing arm , turning alota ponies = bigger swing arm ... you decide +2 + 4 , +6 if u plan to do some really nasty mod's down the road ...................

i still take my + 8 trailing and hill climbing . good luck

long swinger in the sand for lots of HP............. i just took my +6 sand banshee for a trail ride, you gotta be kidding, i was rolling over whoops like a boat on the high seas every time i would pinn it over a obsticle my ass end would jump off the ground and id damm near fly over the bars, then i had to get off and grab my front end and swing it around, just to turn around......but my - 2 hooks and i can get lift when i gas it, you might want to let me know what your definition of a trail is........

I wouldnt go any longer than a -1 for trails. I had a 4mil stroker and i have a -1.5 swinger and wished I had a -2 at times. Banshees create way to much wheelspin on dirt, and they are long to begin with. shorten the wheel base and you will gain a ton of handling and hookup. An extended swinger in the trails is a joke.

Well evidently the trails this guy is riding, are paved and have turn outs where a tractor trailer can bust a u turn
