Cotton eyed Joe
here we go..a sign outside a New Orleans business... 410998 Awesome shit right thurr.. Its only a matter of time before the ACLU steps in with a lawsuit stating that the sign infringed on someones "right" to willingly break the law. That sign prevented them from breaking and entering, and then looting during a delcared state of emergency. That isn't fair.
The Rebel
The claw hammer is for CQB. Or would that be what the ugly woman is for?
RNBRAD
The other night, when they were showing the looting on the news, they showed some dumb shit wheeling out a whole supermarket shelf filled with nothing but A-1 steaksauce. WTF! 410710 That's hillarious right there. Dude prolly has another shopping cart full of steaks. That stuffs good ya know. Have to get a long stick and set a building on fire to cook them. Its only a matter of time before the ACLU steps in with a lawsuit stating that the sign infringed on someones "right" to willingly break the law. That sign prevented them from breaking and entering, and then looting during a delcared state of emergency. Isn't that the gods truth Stan. On a side note, looks like the pres/gov, fema and a few other people/agencies gonna catch some hell for the delay. We respond quicker to refugee's from country's we bomb better than we do in our own country. WTF?

WTF? 411087 well we are prepared for that, i dont think we were prepared for how many people ignored evacuation orders, how big the storm was, how the people effected would act, etc etc etc. and no matter how prepared you are, it still takes time to drive from point A to point B with 20,000 tons of food and water and the man power to hand the shit out. not like other countries where we can just fly over head and drop down supplies. its too bad it took so long, but hell, give people a break, they are goin as fast as they can. meanwhile main stream media and the DNC are taking full advantage of the situation and doing nothing but rile everyone up. its disgusting. no matter how fast help arrived, they woulda found some way to blame it on Bush. RNBRAD
Well the topic can be debated from both sides no doubt. I remember the gulf war and all the unexpected refugee's and those that surrendered was overhwelming as well. I know what the military is capable of doing in a shorter period of time. If the military would of been as ready as all the media to go in after the hurricane, a lot of this mayhem could of been prevented.
rocketboy
the rescue efforts were largely delayed and hampered by all the trouble these lazy ignorant dipshits caused themselves IMO we cant get in their like we normally could when we have people(more like cavemen) shooting and looting and raping and killing. alot of peeps and agnecys wanted to help but theres only so much yo u can do when theres bullets flying at you .these pompus fuckers got what they deserved for ignoring the evacuation warnings ,how fuckin dumb is that? my only regret i n it was that lil' GW wasnt there hiding up in an atic covered in fecus and bodies instead of largemouth bass fishing with a 10 gallon hat on ,

Killing looting etc? It seems the US government didn't have any problems sending all the weapons, supplies, and young healthy men and women to stop it over there. And wasn't one of the excuses "we're doing it for the people who have suffered so long and for the women who couldn't wear what they wanted and who couldn't even vote". I've got to say that it sure seems that chasing down Saddam and not finding Bin Laden is more important than our own people who haven't eaten in days and are wading thru their own toilet water. How civilized is that? I want you guys who don't undrstand the shootings to put yourself in the peoples shoes who are down there. These are in fact people just like you. I want you to walk away from everything you own, starve yourself for 3 days and drag around your injured wife or kids. All you have is your gun, which you have been told from childhood is the one thing that will get you out of any tuff situation and hunger driven rage. I'm telling you right now, if I miss a couple meals in a row, I don't just get upset, I get enraged. It's a sugar thing or whatever. If I didn't eat for days, even I would be wanting to take the law into my own hands and if my wife was injured or dead, I would have nothing to live for. It would be ON if you know what I mean. Just out of curiosity... Did these hurricane impacted states vote for Bush? I wonder how they feel about hanging chads right now. As was seen in the tsunami, if these people don't get out and get fed, the deaths that have been seen from the waves will be nothing compared to the deaths from disease and illness and deprivation. And this WILL effect the entire economy of this country AND the world. Since we have set ourselves up as the consumers that buy the TV and other crap from the rest of the world, when our extra money gets poured in the gas tank {I'm sure people will even be using their credit cards to finance gas just so they can keep their jobs} the world is going to start hurting. What makes this worse than 911 is that the actual fuel delivery has been impacted and it's not just panic. I predict that Bush will crack out his "just go shopping" speach he used after 911 but I also suspect that the majority of the people in this country are already tired of that song and dance. Disasters like this are what the government is supposed to plan for. Again it looks like it was caught with it's pants down.
rocketboy
hahhah well the peeps should have heeded the evacuation warning ,the ones that are left are dumb.sure they would have had really bad conditions to try to move their familys and would encounter transportation problems and would most likely have no where to go too ,well i ask whats the alternative? crawl up i n your attic and drown i n your own home?be swept awa ywhile waiting for uncle sam to eventually save your lazy ass? they should have used their brain :clap:if you play on the stereet long enough and dont listen to your parents to get off of it your ass is gonna get run over. as fa r as what wil l bush say.. im sure it ll be somethign along the lines of go to a baseball game and buy your kid a hotdog or go shopping ... oh wait yo u cant do that cause gas is like 4$ a gallon and the ball park and malls are to far away and once your there your brokeanyhow,
Lee
This BS about heeding an evacuation warning... A lot of those people, as with other sizeable cities, don't have vehicles or a means of transportation. And those that do, can't afford to fuel up the car at $5.00 /gallon it went up to as the threat of the storm increased. See how far $10 gets you on 2 gallons of gas. You see how hard it is to move the people with as many busses they have there now. It's taking time... So to just jump up and head out isn't as easy at it sounds. The fact is, it hit with force and it was exponentially increased by every moment up to the point of devastation. That's something no one can prepare for. If nothing else, more of our men and women from the national guard who are over in Iraq, should be here where they belong. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the National Guard service was set up to protect the homeland, especially in times when the army, marines, navy, etc. were away fighting for the country. Bottom line, New Orleans is part of America... It's our duty to protect and help them with all of the resources we have. I was always taught to protect and care for your family when in need, before "liberating" or helping someone elses. That part comes second when your homeland and families are secure and cared for. We have resources... we're the USA.
rjvoight
hey all, I knew this thread would be on here when I got back. I have been caught in the storm and have survived. Nothing serious, no power, and gas is a bitch to find. Trees on top of the house, and I am 180 miles from the coast. Just scored a generator from my bud at the lake, right on!!. Thought I'd pop in and see what you all had to say. I see everyone of you that commented on this topic have never been in a hurricane before. How does a 12 hour continuous freakin' storm grab your ass? It ain't perty, believe me baby. This sombicth had some BALLS!!! We been through plenty of 80 mile winds before now and never had a tree to fall, but this one took out two big oaks and laid em on my roof. No damage, just a hassle, a few shingles. I live in the woods with 100ft tall trees surrounding my house. I got lucky. Power might be back on in 10-14 days. Damn gas prices went out the freakin roof. I haven't even thought about getting in one of those gas lines. I got all my shit before it hit and I think I can hang till it is cooled off around here. Nationwise, I don't believe the balls of the feaking guvment to think nobody will stand up against these ridiculous gas prices. We don't have a choice down here right now. I'm just gonna chill with my ole friend Jack, and I invite anyone to do the same. Looters. Hah. What the hell y'all worried about. You haven't ever lived with these leaches. What the hell you got to say about it? We didn't ask for this shart. Your guvment thought it would be a good idea to give em every f%&king thing they needed to live. They have had their hand out too long for the chunk of cheese and they don't know how to live for themselves. What is wild about all of this is that 90% of my co workers say the same thing y'all do: kill em all. That's crazy talk. There ain't nothing down there that is worth a damn. If they need food so be it, i hope it's not tainted. They can't use anything they loot, it is just bred in to them to do what they do. there isn't anything that we can do that will come close to what God will do when the time comes. Just pray for us all. And remember, the Rebel loves ya, whether ya know it or not. 410807 Glad you made it with minimal damage. Those trees make a nice wind block if you have enough round your place and they are close enough together. And you are right............most of the looters were theives before, they just had to be sneaky bout it. Now they know the cops are busy, understaffed and overwhelmed and they have all the time in the world to take what they want and get away. Take care, our prayers are with you. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FUCKING HURRICANE, DIPSHITS. what a bunch of ignorant pussies people are being. the devistation is horrible, the loss of lives is horrible, the loss of homes is horrible. we are doing everything we can for them, as quickly as we can. yes response maybe could have been quicker, but a lot of factors were involved and delay WASNT INTENTIONAL. buncha fuckin conspiracy theorists. drives me insane. people are more worried about making the government look bad than they are about the actual people involved. heres a message to all the people and politicians and public figures who are crying foul: DO US ALL A FAVOR AND SHUT THE FUCK UP
Fireman-hott
Get em Brooke. All those blaming Bush especially oh THE FUCKING MAYOR OF NO, are the real ones that need to be taking shit. My favorite photo, not enough buses to get people out right? WTF was the mayor thinking when he left these. http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/0...flpc21109012015 Secondly, we have ~50k troops in Iraq. we have ~20-25k now in LA/MS those areas. THirdly remember how bad Hurricane Andrew was? Wiped out 1,000 square miles. Hurricane Katrina? wiped out 90,000 square miles. One hell of a big difference. Personally I wouldn't evac people that were shooting at me either fuck em. Its one thing to get that primal rage and fight someone to the death its another to shoot at the people trying to get you out to food water and shelter. and a human canlast 7 days without water and many weeks without food, so blaming the government on them starving is ridiculous.
