I am looking into getting an ignition with a launch rev limiter and/or reed cages. I have seen dynatek in rocky mountain and the v-force reed cages but I wasn't sure if these would be best for drag racing or if there were other brands out there that would be better. This makes a HUGE difference.V-force reeds are good reeds and mine have lasted for a long time.The Dyna ignition is a good ignition also.Trust me,bolt-ons help alittle and porting makes a huge difference. Blackmon Posted August 29, 2005 Author Report Share Posted August 29, 2005 I have heard that if you port the motor with toomey t6 pipes you do more harm than you do good because they perform better with stock porting. The toomeys will sign off before the cpi's or shears will. It will be night and day difference with port job and a set of performance pipes.
