Hello! just needed some advice on some tires for my 03 banshee, I mostly do cross terrain riding like, the river sand/mud and rocks. What brand and size would you guys recommend?I was told to go a little bigger to get better clearance and was told to get maxis razors??

Thanks for the input :D

I've had 3 sets of Bandits and the wear great but they don't hook up anything like the I-Razr's I've got now

I was actually thing about giving those a shot.Looks like what you have on there for the hillclimbs is good. How are they for hookup? We only have 20ft and then up the hill we go!

if they werent the best i wouldnt run them. no other tire i have tried hooks like these do. i dont think we even have 20 feet of flat before the hill...

I was in the same boat as you earlier this summer. I have always run holeshots with good luck, so I grabbed a set. Stock tires I had suck, and they were pretty worn out too which made it even worse. Loco has said a few times in other threads that Knarly's are pretty good, so I bought a set of them too. They hook up at least as good as the holeshots, prob better - and they're cheaper. Give the Knarly's a shot, you won't be disappointed. Once I wear these 2 sets out, I'll prob just stick with the Knarlys.

rivers and rocks huh? bud im gonna give you some good advice on that forget all about them 20 inchers and get some 22's, don't matter what kind, holeshots, razrs, kendas whatever you will save yourself some grief from beating the shit out of your swingarm skid plate if you are runnin one if not i suggest gettin one. i myself have one particular place to ride that i bought a set of wheels and tires just for the place because of the river crossings, rocks, deep and i mean deep ruts, and deep mud. i have holeshots in the 22" right now and have and identical set in the 20" on separate wheels and i tell ya what there is the biggest difference in the two as far as clearance. you wouldn't think it would make much of a difference but it does, gets that skid plate farther from mother earth. before i used to have a shitty set of white warrior wheels with some stock ohtsu 300ex balloon tires on and it handled like a couch but, that mother would go and outgo 4x4 bikes in some cases. if you find yourself hung up on roots, rocks, ruts, and all other kinds of nasty stuff i think you would be happy with a 22 inch tire just my opinion though.
