derk321 Posted August 23, 2005 Report Share Posted August 23, 2005 CAn you guys tell me if i got a good deal? the tires are good and hhave a lot of thread but the bike has some rust on it like the frame and stuff but ill prob powdercoat it in the winter also it needs a new clutch and brake pads all around which will cost me about 120 and then it will run perfectly and i will also rebuild it this winter it has skids, nerfs, renthal hbs,new tires around, skids, and a tach besides that is this a good deal for 2170 link to my banshee Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

derk321 Posted August 23, 2005 Author Report Share Posted August 23, 2005 also just to see if its the clutch when i rode it on the street and punched it then i shifted into second and install off pulling reaaly really hard since its on bandit xcs on the street the engine just revved loud and i slowly gained speed is this the clutch and will it be hard to install a barnett clutch? fast87 Posted August 26, 2005 Report Share Posted August 26, 2005 check the oil on the dipstick to see if it's dark gray with clutch material..tis an easy fix tho, if you do it right...i did mine in a few hours on the trailer at the dunes...luckily the wind was down that day so no sand flew into my motor that i know of..keep rags handy and drain all the fluids first, actually first go buy a clymers manual you won't regret it(so i hear, i still don't have one..) ~Mark~ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BansheeBrian Posted August 26, 2005 Report Share Posted August 26, 2005 Your still good even if it needs a fresh top end.A banshee that needs minor work for under 2500 is a score in my book.
