radiator

Mine did that every time I rode it until I put an aftermarket head on it...It was a Noss Head by the way.... :D

If it's as hot where you are as it has been lately in Oklahoma, it's not that unusual. Check the coolant level, radiator cap, and make sure the coolant is flowing well. Jetting can also cause it to run hot but it's usually fatter in the summer.

That was the original reason for the Cool Head years ago. Using Engine Ice would probably help. I'd check the other stuff just to make sure you don't have a problem.

a blown head gasket or o-ring if you are running a cool head can also do this. compression leaks from your domes into the coolant system and pressurizes it dumping coolant out the overflow. not saying that's what's wrong, but it can happen

Cough up $250 for a noss machine head, trust me. Mine ran hot with just pipes, so I added a noss head and engine ice and it runs cooler than a stock banshee would. With the 21cc domes I noticed better bottem end, plus you wont overheat and that not good for your engine if it does.

haha thanks ellison. ya i guess thats what my next mod should be. I was thinking of a works connection clutch lever and such but the noss head will be better for the engine
