jmoore
It's a gamble. Get as much info on the car as possible such as car fax. Use your gut instinct. my .
racer
have you talked to the guy on the phone? that will give a much better feeling for them.
dogboystoy
Well, if it looks like a good deal, after considering the info previously given, and the dude sounds like he's cool. Let him know you are coming and do it. The body should be in better shape then NY because they use less or no salt in TX for the snow. Then ask if you can bang his old lady?/ Good luck
Ryda85
lol bang the old lady....nice yea he seems like a cool guy, he bought the car from some guy named jb...supposed to be a big f-body guy in texas. everyone on the camaro forums knows the previous owner....the builder of the car but not the guy who has it now. im just a little scared that the car wont make it all the way back to ny and ill be stuck in between. here are some pics: car also comes with some nice weld prostar rims...not the ugly ass ones in the pics

Give it a go if you think its worth it, but see if you can get him to send you the VIN number and do one of the CARFAX things someone mentioned. Then just go like hell like Smokey and the Bandit between TX and NY. That way if you brake down you'll be that much closer to home and the 75 cents per mile tow charge won't hurt so bad. BansheeBrian
Carfax is great and will let you know if it's been smacked and repaired with auto Botox(bondo).Since it's summer a little water wetter wouldn't hurt for you're journey.Enjoy your trip back and don't start rippin shots.Get it home safely and without incident. When were those pics taken? The trees look like they are having a tough time. I hope you are saving a ton of loot on the trip.Don't forget that New York like Connecticut always has a finger in you're ass for taxes everywhere you turn.
