racer
yes there is a bleed screw on top of the caliper. but unless you have a vacuum type automatic bleeder youll have a hard time getting all of the air out by those holes. to do it properly you need to bleed every connection. start by running your lines and loosely getting them in place. then once you are ready for fluid bleed the fitting at the master cylinder. then continue going down the lines, one at a time until you are bleeding the caliper itself. after repeating for the other side check your lever for feel. if youre happy with it, tighten everything down the final time and be happy. if your not keep on bleeding in that order. but beware: if you let the master cylinder resevoir run dry and accidently pump air in the lines you need may to start all over if you dont catch it at the first fitting. good luck. dajogejr
Yeah...bikes/ATVs are not like cars...you really do need that vaccuum to do it easily.. Once in place...as said, leave the master cylinder top off, fill it...and open the bleeder screws. Let the bike "Gravity" bleed to start. Then, bleed 'em as said. Finally...tap the master cylider gently a few times...this will let any small air bubble rise to the top towards the bleeder. Patience...and use fresh brake fluid from a sealed container only.
