VinceDizzy Posted August 14, 2005 Report Share Posted August 14, 2005 Well if its comming from the drain plug its got to be tranny fluid. Replace the copper washer and tighten. It "should" stop. The only way you could get engine oil into the tranny is if your cylinder base gaskets are leaking, also the tranny oil will have a different texture and look if you had a cylinder base gasket leak. I can see how tranny oil gets in the case but never heard of mix oil in the tranny. Generally if you have a clutch side crank seal leaking it will suck tranny oil into the crank case and then you have all kinds of problems.
