MonkeyBoy
If you ran out of gas while on on, the petcock intake tube is not there anymore. On the petcock there are two tubes, a short one for reserve, and a longer one for On. This allows you a small amount of fuel for reserve to get you home. Mine has the tubes removed too, so if I am On, the fuel will flow till the tank is dry. Just don't run it dry. I wouldn't bother with it unless it's run down to reserve all the time. I was going to leave mine as is until the petcock started leaking.
Cotton eyed Joe
The fuel tank switch was on the ON(main tank) and the banshee stopped. I switched to reserve and it wouldn't start. Checked the fuel tank and it was empty... What do you think is the problem? Thanks. 404288 I'd like to amend my answer. After getting this shits this weekend I've had plenty of thinking time on the toilet. I think you're rear tires might be the problem. Switch them around and see if you mysteriously have more fuel in your tank.

pimpeinkc
the valve has a grove in it, depending on which way it is that part is open, and there are 2 tubes inside, long and short, if you are running out with no reserve that is the problem, your short tube is gone, i would get a gas gauge to help you know when it is low.....lmao..... refill isle
98bonerSTOCKshee
i was thinkin the same thing put some gas in there 404310 Being that the tank was empty, you probably have a kinked fuel line somewhere. Maybe your CDI is junk. Saw your CDI in half and let us know whats inside. Its a possibility the little AA batteries inside it need to be changed. 404336 I'd like to amend my answer. (he asked for it didn't he?)
