ogre03 Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 What oil do you guys reccomend for a banshee's tranny? I've just got the basic bolt ons, and riding for recreation. I've been running mobil one 10-30. The temp. here doesn't get much over 70, ever. Quote
trex banshee Posted August 10, 2005 Report Posted August 10, 2005 i run valvoline max life 10w40 it seems to work fine. i think if run any good oil you will be fine if you change it when you should. i hear you should change it about every 3-4 rides but i am too lazy to do this. Quote
VinceDizzy Posted August 11, 2005 Report Posted August 11, 2005 Both of those would be great. I run ATF: F and change it everyother ride. Your type of oil doesnt need changing as often. And the 80wt "motorcycle" oil needs changing even less often. Then Holyman here runs Tractor Oil which he hasnt changed in along time, and still running strong. Oil to me is a personal preference type thing. Quote
