Justintoxicated
Gary build things for people himself he is not a huge company like yours. I don't think it's fair to compare a huge company such as yourself to his. He puts his own quality work into his arms not just some guy at the shop. Gary isn't trying to make a living off his company he does this for people because he can, and offers his products at a very reasonable price. Meat
some people have problems with a product and other never have a problem with the same product. So what does that tell you ? How can I have a set of Janssens and never have A SINGLE PROBLEM with em ? I dont even do half the maintence on my quad that most of you do, I ride it 3 times a week and wash the f**ker once a month. I'll squirt some WD-40 on the heims every once in awhile and they're fine, iv had em for about 4 years now too, maybe 5 years, I think I bought em back in the summer of 2000. Anyways, im not making this shit up, im not trying to coy and Im not a cheerleader for one brand. I call em like I see em and sometimes that gets me in trouble, but next time the guys complaining about fireball or janssen, you gotta add to your statement.... that you talked to people who'v ran em for years and never had any problems. When I have a problem with my Janssens, I'll report back with the details. Just another note, Jannsen's crappy Outlaw A-arms are kicking ass in the GNCC circuit this season. Chris Jenks won the Pro class and the overall a month ago at the Yadkinville GNCC, with Janssen A-arms. The Janssen Outlaw arms are freakin' sweet. MonkeyBoy
I'm not here to bash anyone. If you ask my opinion I will give it. To answer the point of this thread, and get thing back on topic, Just replace your ball joints. The heims of the right size to fit your arms will not be strong enough. And for final reference, I have an old set of Fireball arms when they still had balljoints. One of their first 200 sets of Banshee arms. They had poor geometry, poor balljoints, and when I tried to replace them, Fireball was nowhere to be found to get new ones. They resurfaced about a year later. sanddragon2004
I'm not bashing anyone, I was meerley defending Kevin who happens to be a very tallented fabiractor and a close personal friend of mine, when you implied that because he used to work for fireball his products are duplications of theirs and therefore no better it struck a nerve. Granted he could not possibly have made the fixtures for some of the bikes you noted above because they had not been produced yet, but we both know the real story don't we? I wont get into that... You post here in what seems to be an attempt to sell sell sell, very seldom do you provide any useful or meaningful information in discussions technical or otherwise. It is always Sand Dragon this or Sand Dragon that. Furthermore you publicly bash other builders (a very poor sales tactic - try that on Glamisdunes.com see where it gets you) yet you skirt around questions pertaining to the design, development, and testing aspects of your products. So I'll ask again... What exactly does Sand Dragon Motorsports design, test, develop, and manufacture 100% in house??? 423942[/snapback] I know you are friends with kevin, at least you have made it apparent. I dont want to get into a pissing match with you because we both know that will go no were, We would like to send you a set of our LONG travel a arms to try out and see just how confident we are in quality of these arms. A arms, Steering STem, Swing arm DRAG axle what ever you need CHROME/POWDER/CANDY, what ever you want.. We would be happy to send you one of each to install/ test. and try out to see just how high quality (or low quality, we will let you make that decision) it really is. Feel free to PM me, or call me any time. I will send all these ITEMS free of charge to you, If you are not willing to remove any of your supsension to install on your bike, Have one of your buddies or relatives or anybody you personally know that can give us feedback call me I will be happy to send to them. I appoligize if i came off as a sales hore that was not / never my intent. I am just so happy with the service and product I have recieved from fireball, In my opinion the best suspension i have ever used/sold/dealt with period. And i tend to be a little jumpy and edgy. I dont want to make enemies with you or kevin. We both have nothing to gain by doing so. please call us, and ask for ANDY 408-833-4131, or 408-333-9305 email sales@sanddragonmotorsports.com Monkey boy, The reason you prob had a hard time getting ahold of firebal way back when is they moved from LA to up near me out side of fresno. They are now a manufacturing facility and only deal to a handful of companies. and are not open to the public. I cannot speak for them on thier products then, but will offer you a LIFETIME warranty, on any product you buy from me that is fireball, including replacement parts for your old a arms, swing arms what ever you bought from them in the past. If you in turn decide you would like to try a new set of a arms. I will offer you up anything you need, and I will try to make it well worth your while. hope im not coming off as a sales hore again, just trying to do what ever it takes to make you happy. If i have to sell everything to you at below my cost and make no money it is worth it in my opinion.

DUNEDEMON
Andy, a very generous offer - Thank You, but I am more than pleased with my present setup. Perhaps your offer could be extended to someone here on the HQ with OEM components if they provide an un-biased opinion. I was not looking for a pissig match either, glad we can agree on that. Hopefully no hard feelings, good luck.
