bigboybanshee
Never run them before but I know of plenty of people that don't run crossover tubes and have no issues with their bikes. My newest setup on my banshee will have intakes with no crossover tube....just fyi
JKJK
I run the Boss intake set up,the ones with no cross over tube. You can buy a set of the 34mm rubber boots that bolt to the intakes for about 15.00 from UPP.I would try that first.I agree most stock(minor mods)set ups will respond better+be easyer to tune with the ballance tube inplace.I have a mx style port set up for off idle power delivery. The crispness of the throttel responce is incredible.I'm also fanatical about tunning, allthough everyone that has ridden my bike is amazed how it pulls. There is no dead spot that usually goes along without haveing the tube. ban1
i never thought about the cross over tube before because we were allways riding were i would run a lot at WOT , but my last trip we went trail riding and noticed it would only run on one cyl until i opened it up,then it would run fine. came home played with things with no luck crudeley built a cross over tube set up and then it would run on other cyl (was running on right then went to left) my broyher has a banshee and put a boost bottle an it and he said his was only running on one cyl at idle but it would change back and forth from time to time but now runs fine
trex banshee
sounds like t me the cross over tube isn't your problem. i don't use one and mine runs fine. have you checked to see if it is firing correctly?
Dunsmoor86
Same thing happend to me one cylinder would only run when putting around and trail riding, the problem was one of my piolet jets were clogged.
bigboybanshee
sounds like t me the cross over tube isn't your problem. 402972[/snapback] I agree. Have you checked your air filter? I had the same symptom as you (one cylinder firing) and it turned out to be a clogged outerwear on the filter. If you do run an outerwear, pull it off and run it for a second without it and see if that helps.
sheefreak
I would check air filter, pilot, then compression of side that is running half assed in that order. You may want to switch plugs around just to make sure.

ban1
this thing has ran like this since tha day i got it. i have changed pilot jets, main jets, changed carbs from side to side changed plugs changed coils checked compresion (both at 130) checked timing. it has always had the bog at bottom end and always firing on right cyl off idle until i makeshift a cross over tube then it would fire on left cylinder and not the right on. it doesnt make any senceto me i have even changed reeds from side to side with no change
