sg30721
I have a spare set of Honda 250 R front shocks at home which have more travel than Banshee and was wondering if there is a way to modify them to fit on a Banshee? I have never held them up to the Banshee before but I believe the top bracket is much thinner on the 250R. I have +2 A arms so this might help them fit. When I get home from work I will check the clearance to see if it looks possible.
decon
I really dont think so. 250r shocks are inches longer than banshee shocks
racer
they are probably sprung too light. 250r's are much lighter than a banshee, and this would probably be reflected in the ride charateristics. but if thats not an issue, get out yur welder and mount them fuckers up! Banshee-man27
Yes it is, i have a parts banshee w/ 250r front shocks on it. It seems pretty nice, obviously cant ride it though. Want me to take pictures for you?
racerzippy
250r shocks are 1.5 inches longer than Banshee shocks, and the mounts are different widths. It can be done, but only if you aren't afraid of putting new upper mounts on your Banshee. If they are stock, its not worth the effort. I would only do it if they were some thing cool like Ohlins or Works>
