sheefreak
Building 4 Mil Cub motor and don't know what length swingarm to go with. Would like it to be as short as possible without spending all my time on my back.

bigboybanshee
A lot depends on what type of terrain you'll be ridng the most. On sand or dirt, I think the +6 should work pretty good. I'm running a +8 on my ported 350 but that's only because I'm running it on asphalt.
sheefreak
Mainly sand. I was wanting to go +4, but I am not sure that will be enough.
race-a-holic
I'm using a 5 inch extension form JTM (jaeckeltool.com) .The quality and durability seems really good so far. It's cheaper than an aftermarket swingarm and does just as good. fixitrod
Wouldn't a persons weight matter on the length of the arm too. I'm a heavy guy. I went to glamis in Feb with a +3.25 swingarm and it seemed to be plenty. I have no cub but it's a ported 4mil. I urn 9paddle extremes 21" with an 8" rim. Are you just drag racing ? 23champ
anywhere from +4 to +6 will be fine.
switchblade
I running a +4 on my 485 cheetah. It seems to give me the best of both worlds. I can line up at the sand drags and race. Then go cruise the dunes and ride a wheelie anytime I want. It also makes a differnce if you are running +1 a-arms. Don't get me wrong if I was going to build a strickly drag bike I would go longer.
