FlatTrackinIt55
hey all, ive been racing my 1990 banshee in flattrack for over 3 years now and ever since ive had the thing ( about 3 1/2 - 4 years) the thing has creeped when i have the clutch pulled in. it has a fairly new basket in it with a good set of fibers and plates. the play in the lever is adjusted right and it still creeps forward on the starting line. and is causing big issues. it gets extremely worse when at a high rev ( waiting on the green light at a race) and is almost to the point that i can not control it. any ideas from anyone on what to look for and anything else? RNBRAD
Mines done it since day 1, even after I changed my clutch and basket, lever, cable, same thing. It's not really a problem though, just a slight creep.

sheefreak
Mine doesn't creep a bit. Is your adjustment correct on the bottom. Your clutch pushrod is prolly not adjusted correctly. Make sure the pointer that your throttle cable is connected to is lined up w/pointer on crankcase. Should be good to go from there unless you have too many fibers, or your pointer is bent. I like the creep, the longer it takes before the start of a race the further down the track I am. Really though, I only notice it when I start it on a flat surface, never notice it on the sand. I may be able to adjust it out, not sure, I just figured since it has always been that way, as if it's normal.
