BansheeBrian Posted July 27, 2005 Report Share Posted July 27, 2005 I just recieved my spankin new Sanddragon +2 swinger and I'm trying to predetermine the length of chain needed for a 15/40 sprocket setup.Is there a chart or mathmatic formula to find out how many links it requires?If someone has a way of knowing or a similar setup please let me know. locogato11283 Posted July 27, 2005 Report Share Posted July 27, 2005 i always just buy a longer chain from ramtv. that way i have extra pieces in case i need to do some crazy gearing change that my chain wont allow. i also run 2 master links. sometimes at the hillclimbs i dont have a long time to change it out. so i make it as easy as possible.
