tyguy71 Posted July 26, 2005 Report Share Posted July 26, 2005 I broke my kickstart gear when i wasnt even starting it... I was hydroplaning, i think in 5th gear, and got spun around. I did a 360 across the water and another 180 just as i was hitting the sand on the other side. I heard a loud pop and figured the worst...i sheared gear...but it turns out it was only the kick start gear. Is this common? How could it have happened?? tyguy71 Posted July 26, 2005 Author Report Share Posted July 26, 2005 I also found piles of orange plastic like shit in the bottom of the clutch cover i dont know where it could have possibly came from...i changed my oil before i went on the trip and i dont think anyone could have slipped anything in it without me knowing.... any idea what this might be?
