Bansh88
I've heard good things about this setup. I'm looking to make my bike more reliable and easier to manage. More power is nice but I'm not looking to be the fastest guy out there. I'm looking at this single carb as something great for my Banshee. A few questions: What would be the difference from 33mm to 35mm? I realize 2mm difference but what are the pros and cons of each and what other mods have to be done to keep up? I would go with the bolt on K&N rather than the airbox setup. Is the Filter they give you the ideal size? What mods have to be done to use the single carb? I currently have a stock engine. Do I need bigger, ported, milled? what? I only ride Glamis. Any info or feedback would be appreciated.
decon
a 35 would be best if you plan on porting.
FOXBANSHEE30
Hi, I have the 2 into 1 with the 33mm Keihn carb w/ the K&N Clamp on and i absolutely love it. It is a lot easier to tune in my opinion. It's a bit pricey though but i think its worth it. Thats my 2 cents. MEADOWS.
sandman121383
hey man i got the trinity setup with a 35 and i plan on porting this winter rebuild. right now i still love it. i just switched exhausts to a set of shearers and rejetting was easy. the carbs easily accesssible and easy to work on. my banshee runs really good too. would run better with porting cas of my compression and pipes i bought but on top it screams like an animal. the single carb doesn't limit my top end. i run a K&N clamp on, no air box too. Bansh88
So I can run a 35 with a stock engine? I have still have my original top end. If I had the 35mm and then ported, it would really use the 35? What reasons might I go with the 33?
Dunsmoor86
If I am correct the 33 is going to be alittle better for bottom end and more for a stock engine and the 35 i heard is alittle better for top end along with ported cylinders. decon
do you have at least pipes?
Bansh88
I have SSTs. I have V Force as well. Would those remain with the 2 into 1 setup?
sredish
The 35mm will work fine on the stock motor. You'll probably want to change the needle to a slightly richer taper (due to the low vacuum) but it will work fine. I ran my 35mm on the stock ports for over a year, perfectly. Great low/mid and a very smooth powerband.
bansheefreestyler
i have one and i dont have it dialed in yet for jetting but i absolutely love it for bottom/mid and as soon as i rode it with it on i could tell a huge differnece
