race-a-holic Posted July 21, 2005 Report Share Posted July 21, 2005 Normally taking off in second should be better.One less shift and eliminates accidentally hitting neutral.Depends on the surface you're racing on.The last time I was at little sahara,I raced one of my friend's banshee.I could get it to launch in second,but it didn't want to rev very fast.It launched harder in first.Might just have to experiment.
