beatmiester Posted July 14, 2005 Report Share Posted July 14, 2005 ok i got my pipes back from being rechromed they do look nice and i'm ready to go i got a K&n with a plate so now i will go with no air box lid FMF Fatty and power core silincers K&N w/outerware no lid stock carbs w/tors stock jetting also stock reeds and intake i'm in connecticut and i'm looking at running it from 65-95 degrees were do i start with the mains and pilots? thanks for the help Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a stock 2000 banshee, with TORS, Stock carbs and emgine, FMF gnarlys with Turbine core II spark arrestors, and a twin air filter. I put 260 mains in it and left everything else alone. With the lid and snorkel on, it was too rich. I pulled the lid and it runs like it should. I would say that I'm close but not perfect since I needed to pull the lid and snorkel. I'm at 2140 feet in western PA. it was about 75-78 degrees yesterday when I ran it. I am by no means an expert on this and you might seriously want to consider what the other guys on here say. I'm just sharing my experience with a similar situation. Hope you get it tuned soon. watkins Posted July 15, 2005 Report Share Posted July 15, 2005 Everyones bike is different but I am at sea level and 310 mains produced a nice plug chop for me. I kept the pilot the same and currently have stock clip position, but its running a little lean in the mid range so Im going to go down another notch.
